get in contact with admin

    Hi,
    My ex has made my blog ‘private’ so that I can’t share it with anyone. Although he is the WP owner, all of the content is mine. I can’t transfer it because of the same issue. How do I get in contact with the real people to sort this out?

    Hi there,

    We see the owner of a site as the person who created the site, and we cannot change any settings on the site or do anything to the content on the site without the site owner’s consent, so if you no longer have access to the site there is nothing we’re able to do.

    You can try our account recovery process – if you can prove your ownership of the site via the methods there we can give you access, but otherwise we won’t be able to help.

    Hi,

    I have ‘access’ and can edit and write new posts, I just can’t publish them because he set it to private.

    If you have a look it’s all pretty mundane stuff.

    Are you speaking of kiymera.wordpress.com?

    I see you are an editor on that site. Editors can publish posts – the site being set to private doesn’t prevent that, but instead prevents the site itself from being visible.

    As an editor you are not able to change that setting, and we also cannot change it at your request.

    Editors also cannot export content from a site, so there’s nothing we can do in this case.
