Get my blog accessible through google search
-
Whenever I search for my blog on google, I can’t have access to it; bearing in mind that I have recently changed my username which was rachidthepoet to a new one which is theinvisiblewanderer. Thank you, great happiness engineers!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @rachidthepoet or @theinvisiblewanderer,
Google has indexed your previous site and all the link from that site. And because you changed your username, all of those links are now broken.
And this is bad because I just read this –
I quote –
Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.

I don’t think WordPress can help you in this case because the problem of broken links lies with the Google database.
I think you can still find a way to fix it somehow or till some extent if not completely. I’ll explain it to you in a simple way –
The problem –
Let’s assume we have a page at domain-one at the following address –
http://domain-one.com/flower555888.html
Google had indexed this page and saved it in it’s database. If we searched for flower555888, we would find it in Google search results.
Now we changed the domain to domain-two, so our address becomes –
http://domain-two.com/flower555888.html
But Google index still points to previous domain. And that’s our problem in this case.

Many people switch their domains and wish to keep the Google ranking. So there must be plenty of informative articles and tutorials on “How to change domain but keep the Google ranking”
I just found a link on quick search. I haven’t read the article but I’ll just share it here –
I hope this helps you in some way. Good luck :)
