Get my old domain back

I had a blog named annamies.wordpress.com, but i deleted it to start over. I then created a new blog with the same domain. I didn’t realise i clicked annamiessite.wordpress.com as my domain instead of my old name. Now i’m trying to change my domain to annamies, but that domain is already taken. I know for a fact i deleted that blog myself a few days ago. What can I do to get my old domain back?

The authors have deleted this site”It’s a mistake to keep deleting addresses if they contain your name and you wish to use the same address in the future. Why not just empty a site of its contents if you wish to start again. You clicked past all the warnings and I’m afraid those addresses are now lost for the immediate future. You’ll have to settle for your third choice for now. (According to support documents you may attempt to recover deleted addresses after two years have elapsed).

Thanks for the help! Really stupid of me to delete it. I wanted to change my blog layout, which was not possible without starting again. I’ll have to choose a new name.
