Get post that i delete back or import a current XML copy

Hello there
Two months ago i ask about how to export post from an specific category, like you can read here:

http://user.wordpress.com/category/cat/feedOn that moment i was trying to export only 2 categories for a Mac-dedicated new blog but then forget the idea. Now i want to open the Mac-dedicated blog again and when i try that way and import the XML database using LiveJournal, the only that support XML file, nothing happend and the database not imported. Then try using Movable Type and same.
Because the system don’t import the database i try deleting the all post in the categories that i export before, assuming the problems was in a duplicated post because post with the same name exist.
Before deleting all the post try to import again the XML database and noting happend again.
I want to import the XML file to the new blog o get back the database that i delete from the old one. Is that possible, of course is better a way to import the XML file to the new blog.
Someone may help me what to do here ???

As far as I am aware there is no way to recover deleted post except to go to Google or Yahoo and do a search and copy the archived pages.
You can contact staff directly and see if they have any other suggestions for you.
