Get ready for Google AMP
-
Our website is http://www.scan-un.org
Google sent a message saying that we had to fix errors on our AMP pages.
I was trying to upload a plugin that was created to make wordpress sites AMP ready but I don’t have ‘plugins’ in my dashboard. What can I do?
More generally, will a plugin really fix these errors identified by Google?
Thank you for your help,
Marie-Eve

Hi there,
WordPressdotcom just made an announcement about AMP being available for all sites hosted here, which scan-un.org is. You can read more about that on the News blog: https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2016/02/24/amp-for-wordpress-dot-com/
Other community members with custom domains commented in that announcement that they were having issues with this, which Staff advised they are aware and being worked on.
I really recommend that you subscribe to the WordPressdotcom News blog, if you aren’t already.
As far as plugins, there are many already built into our platform, but we cannot add 3rd party plugins to our sites here. More about that:

Thank you,
That answered my question about AMP!
As for the plugins, how is it that I don’t have the item under the dashboard menu? It seems like I have no way of accessing plugging from wordpress.
Thank you,
Marie-Eve
