get rid of ads/credits on the bottom of my page about wordpress/theme designers
-
i bought the upgrade but the ads/credits are still on the bottom of the page, how do i get rid of them?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
You can’t get rid of them: that is what you are required to display in order to use that theme and host on WordPress.com. Hiding or deleting them will get your blog suspended.

The current policy about the footer in the support documentation:
May I remove the ‘Blog at WordPress.com’ credit in my site’s footer?
Although the Custom Design Upgrade certainly grants you the capability to hide the credit from your site’s footer, you are not permitted to do so. Even our VIP bloggers are required to maintain the credit.http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

thanks guys:) however, that makes MY site less professional, thats why i just paid 300 dollars to remove it! and if its an OPTION to remove it, i dont see why there would be any issue. nobody wants that on their site.
also, when i upgraded it said there would be LIVE support, but i cant find a way to get to that anywhere. do you know where to find it? thanks again! -
Who in god’s name did you pay $300 to? I don’t know of any upgrade that costs that here.
Live support? No idea, particularly not New Year’s Day.

Don’t know if Vertigo would be my first choice for a professional website. The display is kinda funky looking (in a good way) and IMHO lends itself better to a more personal website. As far as spending US$300, what upgrade did you buy? For that money I’d move myself to a self-hosted website using the standalone version of WordPress. See here: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

thanks again everyone. i bought the “business” value bundle that said it included everything in the $99 value bundle plus live support, unlimited space and premium themes, and a couple other things. right now im not sure im going to keep it, especially if i cant find the live support they claimed i would get. i NEED that lol..

@raincoaster, new upgrade “WordPress.com Business”. We just found it in our Dashboard.
@powerofselfconnection – answers in the other thread, which I’ve tagged for Staff assistance.
