Get rid of comments on pages only

    How do I get rid of comments on my pages? I don’t mind them on the blog posts, but want them gone from the actual pages–without losing them from the posts. I don’t want to mess with code or add plug-ins or anything too complicated. I’m not that adept at WordPress. I just want to manually or otherwise remove the comment boxes at the bottom of the pages. I’ve looked for ‘Discussion’ etc. on the pages, but removing the check box for comments, or discussion, doesn’t seem to work.

    On what site is this?

    You can disable comments on pages by editing the page at My Site ->Site ->Pages. In the editor sidebar, look for the Discussion option, and unselect Allow Comments there.

    That will stop the comment box from being available on the page, but will not remove any comments that have already been left. If you want to completely remove existing comments as well, the only way to do that is to delete those comments from the page completely.
