Get rid of drop down menu in theme Twenty Twelve?
-
Is there any way to get rid of the drop down menu in the theme Twenty Twelve? I have a page called “iPhone” and it’s the parent page for “Contact Moi.” I don’t want the drop down menu to be visible. I want it so that you can’t see the “Contact Moi” page when you mouse over “iPhone.” Can someone please help me? Thank you so much. (:

Create a custom menu and then add only the pages you desire to the custom menu and arrange them as you see fit.

I’ve created a custom menu (and I named it “iPhone”).
Then I added the “iPhone” page to the menu.
What am I doing wrong? Should I also add the “Contact Moi” page to the custom menu?
Either way, the drop down menu is still there… ):[Please also remember that I’m new at this!]
Thanks in advance,

Please read the custom menu support page I gave the link to. Add all of your pages to the custom menu that you WANT to appear in the menu, but whatever you do not want to appear in the top navigation, you leave out of the custom menu.
Also make sure that in the “theme locations” module at upper left on the custom menu page, that you select your menu in the “primary location” pulldown and save.
