How do you get rid of the “Nothing Found. It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.” + the search bar on the front home page at the bottom?

You’ve set up your site using Gateway’s “Homepage Template,” but that template is looking for posts where you haven’t posted any.
You can learn more about that here: https://wordpress.com/themes/gateway/
If you are never going to post any blog posts on your site, then don’t use that template. Edit that page to use the full width page template instead.
