get rid of "protected: " line in the topic?

how do i remove the protected: line on each topic that appears when i create a password for a topic?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

thats rather bad.
since i can not put a global password for the whole blog
i need to use the password for each blog post.those that do go to my blog, dont rly need to be informed that each post is protected….

You can of course make the whole blog visibility “private” if you wish and then add only the official users you wish to add.

yeh i noticed that option.
but sadly i cant handle the 100-200 visitors i am expecting to use the blog.
would be to much work ading everyone and keeping the list up to date all the time.thanks tho for your answers.
