get rid of the renewal message

  hi,

  my domain expired a while ago and as I forgot to renew it – i had to transfer it to another hosting in order not to pay the huge fine that wordpress puts on it. however, the renewal message (if i’m logged in wordpress) keeps appearing (both to me and to any other user who’s logged in).

  how can I remove it ?
