Get Shortlink Covers Photo/Video Buttons

It’s driving me crazy and I am hoping there is an easy solution or a one click step that solves this. I want to put a picture on my post but a “Get Shortlink” button covers the Photo and Video buttons. I have got rid of it in the past but it seems to be permanent now.

Yes, it’s been a very long time and it’s great to see your username here. :) If you have not changed anything at your end then I think it’s reasonable to assume Staff have been making changes, so that’s why I would be filing a support ticket.

This is still happening, basically I cannot post photos or video because there is a “Get Shortlink” button covering the place where you would normally click for photos and video above the post box. I am really starting to get annoyed with this and for the life of me cannot understand why anyone would think that is a good place for such a button. Been blogging at WP for over 4 years and have never had an issue but this is serious.

After about ten minutes of grunting and clicking I got it to go away so I was able to add one photo but that is a little too time consuming and random for my liking.
