get the ‘access log’ file of my website
-
Hello
I am a PhD student at the University of Louisville doing research on the analysis of website access log files. For this purpose, I want to create a website and make it publicly available, then get the ‘access log’ file and use it for my research.
I wanted to know if I build my website on WordPress, will I be able to get the complete ‘access log’ file of my website?
Thanks for your help

Hi there!
You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you would use for your research.
The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help.
Thanks!
