Get the posts to appear in the right order

  Hi can someone please help me resolve this, the posts don’t appear in chronological order, what setting do I need to modify?

  The most likely problem is that you have been setting posts as sticky. You should never need more than one or two posts to be sticky at the top of your blog. The rest will then automatically be in chronological order.

  rosclarke, I think it more complicated than that.

  It appears that posts are ordered by the date the draft was first created, not the date they were published. I just ran into this problem. Very annoying. I can’t imagine why you would want posts not in the order of publishing.

  I fixed it by copying the content from the more recently published post (that was appearing BEFORE a previously published post) deleting that post, creating a new post, and pasting the content there.
