Get updates and replys from WP forum

  Hey guys, I’m working on a new WordPress site for an Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic guild. After talking with some people we decided it would be fun/cool if it was possible to connect a wordpress forum to the frontpage. So the idea is when a admin posts a new thread in a certain catagory on the forum it gets posted on the frontpage of the site. Members can react to that on the frontpage or in the forum section.

  That’s the idea but I’m not sure if there is such an plugin/widget that does it. And that’s why I´m here ;).

  The empty blog linked to your username is a a free hosted WordPress.com blog. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugins. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  We cannot install forums into free hosted WordPress.com blogs. We can register a forum elsewhere on the internet and then create a custom menu and custom link to the forum in that menu.

  Obviously the site will be hosted somewhere else. WordPress requires you to make an blog website.

  If you are referring to a WordPress install then you need to post to the correct support forum http://wordpress.org/support/
