getting a blog setup on a website
-
I have what may seem like an inane inquiry, but it has me stumped. I’ve done some blogspot blogging before, but that’s about it, so I am a novice. I bought a WordPress theme because I want to create a website for my small business. I was under the impression that I could use the Mocha theme to create a website and also have a blog on that site. I have about 20 pages on my site (not blog post-type pages, but “static” pages, as in the content will not change). I am getting close to finishing the creating part (copy, images, layout, etc), but I have no idea how to set up one of the pages as my blog. I don’t want the landing page for the website to be the blog posts (I want it to be my homepage) and I know I’ll need to change that one I publish the website, but how do I have one of the pages as my blog? Or do I need to set up a blog on here and then link that to my website?
Thank you for your help. This has me beside myself.
