Getting a domain

  Hello,
  I want to change my domain from the free .wordpress.com to a .com domain If i do it through WordPress and pay the 18$/year would I have to start a new site or would It just change the domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  All that changes is the URL. Nothing else changes.

If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

  what payment method is used to register a domain can i use alertpay mean Payza in pakistan? &
  can it possible to register my site in another website/register & map it here wordpress.com

  I wouldn’t bother buying any upgrades for that site. It is against the terms of service and will be suspended soon.
