Getting a domain back

I have recently cancelled my domain for wordpress site:

How can I get it back?WP.com: Yes

Thanks for getting in touch. We’ve already processed the refund on our end for that purchase.
Go to https://wordpress.com/pricing/ and repurchase the hosting plan. Let us know once that’s done and we can get the domain restored to the account. This is the only way to maintain ownership of the domain.
If we let it go too far in to the cancellation process anyone will be able to register that domain and then you’ll miss out.

I am told:
Your registrar must allow a domain name that is in the 30-day Redemption Grace Period (RGP) to be redeemed (or restored) before the end of the RGP.It does not tell me how to redeem the name however.

Alternatively, if I need to use a different domain name then that’s fine, so long as I can link it to the website that I have already created.

I checked and sciencethroughcoffeeplus.education is now in a redemption period. The charge is a $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $18 we charge to renew the domain. Please confirm here if you agree to pay the fees and I will begin the domain restoration process along with providing a manual payment.
