  Hi, If I pay for a domain, is there a way it can serve as my own digital book store? I would like to sell eBooks in ePub and AZW3 format, receive customer payments, automatically give them a downloaded file of their choice after receiving payment. Is this possible? If yes, how?

  You can absolutely use WordPress.com to host your online bookstore. For that, you’ll need to upgrade to the Business or eCommerce plan and use a plugin like WooCommerce which will allow you to sell both physical and digital books. You can read more about it here:
