Getting a Home page icon (⌂) in my Blog

How can I get a Home page icon (⌂) in my Blog. ie., cricketbirds.wordpress.com instead of Home tab which is getting displayed on my blog right now? I tried to do it with my menus but it is not happening. Plz help.

You can create a custom menu using the “Custom Links” module for a link to your home page. Insert the http:// url for your blog’s home page. On the line for “label” insert the ⌂ entity. (that is & # 8962 ; without the spaces if using “⌂” doesn’t work)
Be sure to add the other pages you want for navigation to your custom menu. Save. Then apply the custom menu as your “Primary Navigation.” -
When I am trying to put & # 8962 in the label , ⌂ entity is not getting displayed even after saving my menus. The same thing # 8962 is also getting displayed on my website. Plz help. : (

It works either way on my test theme set to Bouquet theme: either & # 8962; or simply pasting in ⌂. I’m pasting it into the “Label”
Are you sure you have made your custom menu active as your primary navigation?
