Getting a link on my blog (heading?) to my website

Hi,
I have just set up an account with WordPress – portuguesewalkingholidays and posted my first blog.
I have a website http://www.portuguesewalkingholidays.com
I hope to use my blogs to promote my website. Can I have my website address displayed with my blogs? And if so could I get a clear guide as to how to do this. I confess i am a bit confused by it all.

You could create a custom menu (in your dashboard go to Appearance>Menus) and you can add links to any address to it. Then make sure to apply this custom menu to your themes main menu (may be named differently, like header etc.) and that should give you what you want.

If you link to your external website from every post in your blog, your blog will likely be suspended. It’s better, and far classier, to just put a text widget with a logo and a blurb and a link to your website.
