getting a lot of hits from XTRMZONE
-
I am getting a lot of hits from XTRMZONE and would like it to stop. Every time I check the referrers address it changes daily but the site is the same. I am assuming this is spam or something I do not want traffic from. When on the XTRMZONE site I cannot find a link to my site here on wordpress. I have been trying to contact wordpress all day and their support page is out of operation as far as contacting support. Any one else out there with the same issue? What do you suggest? I am getting tired of not being able to contact support and want some answers.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are most certainly not alone. There is no security risk here, to you or to you blog. It’s just an annoyance only. These spam referrers do not in any way affect your blog’s Google page ranking.
1. Do not click the links.
2. Do not post the URL or names of the site into forum threads.
3. Please read the sticky post at the head of this forum. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/regarding-referrer-spam?replies=1 -

Thanks for the quick response timethief! Guess I’ll just wait till wordpress figures this out.
My concern was theft of photography and other ideas of mine that are posted. Have had too many friends experience theft of photography that was used on other sites and no permission was given. -
Photo theft and content theft are not related to this spam referrer issue at all. The referrer spammers simply want you to click their links because they get paid when you do. Photo theft is rampant on the internet as is content theft. You can watermark and place a copyright notices to deter some thieves but not all.
