Getting a never-used blog domain

  I wanted to register a blog today, but the name was taken so I checked what was that blog about. It turned out it was never used since June 2007, so I wondered if I could find a way to get that domain.

  Leave a message on the blog and hope that the owner contacts you. If they are willing to transfer it, you are in good shape. If they do not, then you are out of luck.

  WordPress.COM never takes unused blogs and gives them to a new user. Only the blog owner can do that.

  The blog name was shifthappens.blogspot.com that’s the name I want and as you can see it hasn’t been used… at all.
