Getting a parse error message and can’t sign into site or WP
-
Getting this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/68/11904668/html/wp-content/plugins/simple-image-sizes/classes/main.php on line 7
Can’t access anything to fix it. How do I fix this?

Hey rkmagic35,
It seems you have a self-hosted WordPress website. Please share the link to your website.
I hope you know that WordPress.com and WordPress.org and two different platforms. To know more, please read this.

My site is http://www.robkinslow.com. It’s worked for years without a hitch until now.

Also, I didn’t know there was a .com and a .org. A company developed my site back in 2013 or so. I have no technical expertise; I’m a writer.

Hi Rob,
I am not sure if you have a self-hosted website or the Business Plan of WordPress.com. But the problem seems to occur due to the Simple Image Sizes plugin. Try deactivating it.

I guess it’s self-hosted. How do I get into the programming language itself? I can get there once I’m on WordPress and my dashboard, but I’m unable to even get there.
Thanks for your help, by the way.
