getting a post considered for "Featured Post"
-
How does a post become a “Featured Post” by WordPress, as on the poetry pages? I have one that I’d like to be considered because I think it would be helpful to other poets. I haven’t published it yet and haven’t even worked on it within my blog as a draft. I will do that very soon, however.
Thanks,

Hi Dennis. WordPress.com published this article about “Freshly Pressed”. My best guess is that it wouldn’t hurt to apply the same advice for the tag “Featured Posts”…

…except if another volunteer or if staff can confirm otherwise. -
Thanks. Those things would certainly have to apply, I suppose. But I’m wondering just how one or two or chosen from all those that manifest those qualities. Does WordPress read all, or is there a way to submit a post, to point out one that they might be interested in? I placed my question here Sunday night and I suppose no one was working. Then, it seems to have gotten buried beneath the others that have come along since. So, I may re-ask it in another one. Again, Thanks.
