Getting a post to be static?

  Is there any way to get a post to stay at the top of a page, even the page keeps getting updated? For instance I have a post that I’d like to be the “main post” on the page for about two weeks, but I also need to keep updating that page with new posts, so is there anyway to make sure the “main post” stays at the top? Even if I can’t do that, anyone have any creative solutions that might create the same effect?

  It’s a huge pain. I recommend you put the information in a text widget at the top of your sidebar instead.

  A text widget doesn’t look like anything at all; it’s just an empty widget until you put content in it. Then it looks like text or lists or images or tickers or whatever you put in it.
