Getting a refund from WordPress

  • Unknown's avatar

I don’t have a “billing history” listed in my account, however, Worpress just charged me the annual $99 last week for another year of hosting (which I don’t use). How do I get a refund and how do I close this account?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

How many username accounts do you have?
    Have your ever changed usernames?

To disable autorenew, provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades go to > Store > My Upgrades and click the “disable auto-renew” link.

Also provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you ought to be able to request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

I’d like to take care of this for you, but I’m not seeing any upgrades for the username melanita nor for the blog melaniemcleanphoto.wordpress.com. Could you have another site under a different WordPress.com username?
