when I click on my site, there is a red exclamation point that says, “This site cannot be accessed – Disconnect Site.” I am having the same problem with my http://www.ihearshakespeare.org site, and when I try to log in to that dashboard, I just get a blank white screen. Please help! I am not a computer tech at all… kindly reply if possible in plain and simple English, not code-speak. Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We provide support only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM. As that site is not hosted here by WordPress.COM, our support docs do not relate to it, and we cannot provide support for it. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
    Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

Sorry. WordPress.org told me to contact you…

    https://wordpress.com/stats/day/www.ihearshakespeare.org

This is what I am having trouble with… when I click from my site on “view enhanced stats,” this is the page that it sends me to, and it’s “wordpress.com” not .org. That is where I am seeing the “Site Cannot Be Accessed” message with a big red exclamation point. Who can help me with this? I already posted in the wordpress.org forum and they told me that I needed to contact you.

    Hi there!

The site at http://www.ihearshakespeare.org/ is linked to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin, and Jetpack offers those enhanced stats on your stats page here at WordPress.com. For that to work, though, Jetpack has to be able to access your site.

When I check that site, all I see is the blank page you mentioned:

    http://www.ihearshakespeare.org/

You’ll have to fix your site itself first, before you can view your site’s stats. The WordPress.org forums or your website host are the folks who are best-suited to help troubleshoot why your site is down. To start, though, I’d recommend checking out the WordPress.org support page about Common WordPress Errors — it includes details about the “The White Screen of Death” and how to troubleshoot that.

Once your site is back up and running, let me know if you have any further trouble with your site’s stats here at WordPress.com!
