Getting a summary rather than a full text of my posts on my front page
-
In Reading Settings I chose for each article in a feed to show full text. However, I’m only seeing the summary. I’m not sure if this is a glitch, or problem with my theme. I’d really like to see my single most recent blog post on my main page, not just the summary. Help would be much appreciated, thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That setting actually adjusts how much is displayed in your RSS feed.
To adjust how much is shown on your front page, you want to use the “more” tag as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
Take a look through that page and let me know if you have any further questions. I’ll be happy to help.

Just tried that…it didn’t work. I added “more” to the end of my blog…meaning it should show the whole thing on the front page, right? I don’t see why I would have to at that if I’m not trying to truncate it, rather just show the entire post on the front page.
If General Readings settings DONT control how my front page looks, what does the “For each article in a feed, show Full Text/Summary” option control?
Thanks for your help. I’m new and still trying to figure my way around.

My apologies!
I misread your initial post.
Please the ignore my note about the “more” tag. That indeed is for if you want to limit the length of a post on your front page.
