Getting a Suspension Lifted

I am in the unfortunate position of having had a blog suspended. If anyone can help with answers to the following questions it would be hugely appreciated:

    1. I have contacted WP stating that I am happy to modify the content of my blog to their complete satisfaction – would they normally be willing to reinstate it if the offending content is removed?

    2. It may be that I am asked to move the blog to a self-hosted WP.org solution (I would use the paid ‘Guided Transfer’ to do this). The dashboard message states that I will have access to the dashboard for “a limited time” in which to do this. Does anyone know how long it will actually be before I am completely locked out?

    3. The content that has caused the suspension was posted after a WP “Happiness Engineer” stated in the forum that it was not a violation of the TOS. This statement was made in error, and I acted on it in good faith at that time. Ought this to be a mitigating factor in getting the blog restored?

    Thanks for your time.
