Hi there! Just to check, were you planning to use the domain
pawspalace.co.ukhere on WordPress.com with your currently free website http://pawspalacedotcodotuk.wordpress.com/ ?If so, then you don’t need to worry about getting the Nominet tag; here on WordPress.com you’d be connecting your domain rather than transferring the registration, as it ends in
.co.uk.In general, to connect
pawspalace.co.ukand use it as the primary address for http://pawspalacedotcodotuk.wordpress.com/ you’d need to purchase a paid plan for the site, and then follow this guide for connecting the domain:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/connect-existing-domain/We do have a comparison of the different plans we have available for sites hosted with us, in case of need:

Hi @jomaverick1 I’m following up with you here, from your post in the old WP Courses community.
Your domain of: http://www.pawspalace.co.uk is still not correctly configured to point to WordPress.com. It has been added to your WordPress.com site, but you need to change the name servers on the domain over at your registrar to point to WordPress.com. These are our name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comIf you’re having troubles updating the name servers yourself, you can send a support request to your domain registrar saying:
I would like to use my domain with a WordPress.com site. In order to do this, I need to point my domain’s name servers to the following:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comCan you please assist me with this update.
Once you’ve done that, you can reply here, or use the Help Center ? icon in the top right corner of your site to ask us to double check that it is configured properly, rather than waiting 72 hours to find out. It might still take that long to stabilize, but we’ll be able to see on our end if it’s configured correctly or not.
