Getting acces to an old site

  Hi everyone, I really need your help on this one. I need to get access to the content of my old site but I no longer own the domain or e-mail address linked to the site. How can I get around this ? Thank you so much.

  Hi Oliver:

  If you have the transaction IDs from charges on this account, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:

  https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

  Just fill out as much information as you have including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

  WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

  Hi again,
  I am looking to recover my wordpress for the site http://www.oboem.com the domaine has expired and is for salen ow at a really high price now. So I cannot access my old e-mails or hosting service…. I also no longer have access to my old business bank account for a statement. So I can’t recover the info required

  What I do have :

  – An email from wordpress to my personal account stating that I have changed my connection e-mail information for oboem
  – An statement from MOJO Marketplace with the theme I purchased for Oboem
  – I can prove I am the admin for the oboem Facebook twitter and Linkedin account
  – I can show you My hosting provider History on Bluehost to prove that I was the owner of the domain as well.
  – And there are several press articles that prouve I am the owner of the site

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It was a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.   Since it was not hosted here and not using our backup product https://jetpack.com/upgrade/backup/ your only option is to ask your former hosting provider if they can assist in restoring the site: https://www.bluehost.com/contact
