Getting access to my theme folder
-
Dear wWordpress team.
I have a little problem importing a new theme I purchase on wordpress (“Traveler”).
I now have a novel domain name with another supplier. I imported my wordpress website (summerracingsharktour.wordpress.com) on this new domain. The content is there but not the theme “Traveler” that I bought on wordpress. The theme is twentythourteen and I cannot find my theme in wp-content/theme.How can I get access to the folder of my “Traveler” theme?
Thanks for your help

Hi Jeremy –
Premium themes purchased here at WordPress.com can only be used here at WordPress.com, and it doesn’t look like the authors of that theme offer a version for self-hosted WordPress sites. You can browse themes here:
http://wordpress.org/themes/Since you purchased the theme less than 30 days ago, I can cancel and refund it. Would you like me to do that, and also refund Custom Design, since you do not plan to blog here?

Thanks for the reply.
If I understand, I cannot use my theme that I purchase on wordpress nowing that I am using wordpress but having another host than WordPress. I downloaded wordpress to host it with another supplier (myblog.wordpress.com to myblog.com). So if this mean that I cannot have access to the theme I purchase then I would appreciate that you cancel it and refund the account I paid for. Thanks for the consideration

Hi Jeremy – Correct. Just to confirm, you can use your myblog.com domain with your blog here at WordPress.com and then you can use your theme, if you’d rather do that. Or you can host the whole thing at the other provider, and I can refund the theme.
To help you decide which is better for you, this article might help:
http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/11/14/com-or-org/If you do want to host elsewhere, please confirm and I’ll refund your theme. If you’d rather host here, let me know and I’ll provide you with instructions for pointing your domain to your WordPress.com blog.

Thanks for your answer.
I’ll prefer you refund my account. WordPress I great but I’d rather stay with my host supplier I’ve already got.
In the same time, could it be possible to cancel custom design expansion pack to? For the same reason that I do not use ths expansion.
Thanks for your considerationSincerouly yours

Hi Jeremy – Sure thing! I’ve removed both upgrades and refunded the total amount of $109. You should see that refund on your statement in about a week.
