Getting Access to my website. Reset password not working.

    My password no longer works for my login. I have gone through the process to change that password, however the new password will not work. I have changed my password a few times recently just to see if it will work each time and it will not.

    Hi there,

    The forum you’re posting in now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, but your site at whitneymajors.com is not hosted with us (just connected here via Jetpack), so we’re not able to help in this case. The password for your admin account for that site is stored in your site’s database on your hosting provider’s servers, so contacting them directly is your best bet for getting help with this – many hosts offer a way for you to reset this directly via your hosting control panel.

    Otherwise you can see the password reset instructions for your version of WordPress at https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/ for other methods, like changing the password directly in the database.

    For more help with this, you can also ask the WordPress.org community for advice at https://wordpress.org/support/forums, though I recommend you try your hosting provider first.
