Getting admin access to a site when everyone has left the business
-
We have a website based on WordPress, and all the administrators have left the business, and we were unable to get the login details from them.
The website hosts some training materials for one of our applications, and links back to this site are hard-coded into the application. These need to be updated in line with changes that have been developed in the app.
I would like to know if it is possible to have the administration rites passed to myself, once I can prove the domain is one owned by our business?
Does anyone know where to start?
Thanks in advance.

Although it says that I do, I don’t need help with
The blog I need help with is menstonbadminton.wordpress.com.I’m happily the admin of that site and I have no issues :)

As you say you don’t need help with a wordpress.com website and as we can only help you with a website on the wordpress.com platform, we would like to know the URL of your website.

Hi Aaron,
That site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org at another hosting provider.
We have no access to or control over that site at all.
The only people who might be able to help you regain access is the hosting provider for that site. That appears to be http://www.idaqnetworks.com/

Thanks for the really quick response, I will reach out to the provider and see if they can help.
Thanks Again.
Aaron
