getting an error message when uploading photos

    Since my WP site upgrade to 5.4.2 I’m no longer able to upload photos to my media library. I keep getting a message that I need to upload a smaller image, maximum size 2500 pixels. I added Smush and still get same error message. I tried loading an image that had previously loaded fine as an experiment to see if it was my new photos, and it wouldn’t load either. So now I know it’s something with my WP site and not the size of my image. Help please.

    I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
