No but this is the first time i have noticed animated advertisements for casino, gambling etc. I thought wordpress only has text ads. The ads also seem to only appear on the mobile theme. But it clearly says About these advertisements on top so i am sure they are inserted by wordpress. I don’t mind ads but these ads are disgusting and will put off any reader !!

Have you disabled all the browers add-ons and extensions and then tried viewing without them?

I am browsing on my mobile.. It is a simple browser. There seems to be no add-ons

If the ads you see are accompanied by this link small About These Ads link what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising.

Please post screenshot, upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

Hi, I emailed it after i read the message that comes up when you click “about these ads”. I am yet to hear from support as to why these obtrusive ads are appearing. I will close this case once i hear from them. Thanks for your help
