Getting back domain

  yesterday(1/4/2023) I bought a domain (mocharess.com) that I canceled after several hours but it still has not been available to repurchase it again I hope you can check for the domain availability and contact me

  Hi there!

  It can take up to a week for a newly registered domain to be available again once you’ve canceled it. If you’re looking to use it with us, we can restore the domain for you. Can you confirm if you’d like to use the domain on WordPress.com or another provider?

  There are two ways you can go about this if you want to restore the domain now:

  1. Upgrade to a WordPress.com plan: With the annual plans, you get a year of domain registration for free. So if you upgrade to an annual WordPress.com plan now, we can use that free domain credit to restore the domain.
  2. Pay just the domain registration fee if you want to use it elsewhere. We will email you the domain registration fee. Once paid, we will restore it to your WordPress.com account. You can use custom nameservers on the domain to point it to another host.

  Lastly, if you want, you can wait about a week for the domain to be released into the market. Anyone can register the domain when it’s released, so keep in mind if you’d like to wait for the domain to be released.

  When we restore the domain in our system you would be able to point it to a different hosting provider through DNS changes. Is this what you want?

  Otherwise, you’ll wait about a week and then register it directly from the new provider. This is, of course, risky! Somebody else could register the domain first and then you’re left empty handed.
  
  Please clarify if you’d like us to restore the domain, or if you want to risk ownership and register it elsewhere? Thanks.

  I do want you to restore the domain and I’m taking that risk. I want it to be available to me to buy it again.

  Okay, no worries. Then the best advice I can give is that you try to register the domain a few times each day until it is successful.

  It won’t be released for 5 days from the cancellation process.
