Getting back domain name

  Hello, I tried creating a new site under this username, but I didn’t realize I was logged into my friend’s account when creating it. I purchased a domain under her name. Once I realized my mistake (within an hour of making the purchase) I cancelled the domain.

  Now I’d like to add it to the correct account (this account), but it keeps telling me the domain is expired? Can I get that specific domain back for this WordPress account?

  Hi –

  Yes, we can help you get this sorted out. What’s the domain involved? Please sign back in to that account where it was purchased from and write to us here. Then we can restore the domain there, and afterwards you’ll be able to move it to the correct account. But right now, it sounds like the domain has been removed/cancelled so we can’t do anything quite yet.
