Getting back parked domain

Hi,
I recently registered and then deleted a domain name mysmallsteps.org by mistake. Instead, I want to transfer this domain. Is it possible to restore the domain so that I could transfer it?

Was this the account that originally purchased the upgrade? This thread has been tagged for staff assistance. Note that if the domain is recovered it can’t be transferred until you have owned it 60 days (but it could be mapped to somewhere else).

Yes, this is the account that purchased the upgrade and I would like to recover the domain name. I understand that there is a 60-day waiting period. Thank you!

Thanks for getting in touch. I can see that you bought and cancelled mysmallsteps.org on the same day, June 18th. That domain should be available to be registered brand new at a different provider with in 5 days of the cancellation.
It should have been released by today, the fifth day since cancellation.
What I’ve done is restored the domain to your account. You can use it here, or point it to another service by editing the name servers. That is how you can use it somewhere else until it’s old enough to actually transfer.
You’ll find it listed under My Sites in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Click on My Sites – Domains – Manage – DNS to update the name servers and point it to another provider if needed.
