getting blog url that has been suspended

  i wanted to register a new blog today. i found out it had been taken. drat.

  but when i check the url i got this:

  “This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.”

  so this blog address is in limbo.

  can i take this url? will wordpress “release” it to me? how could i make that happen?

  That will NOT happen even if the blog is deleted. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  Thanks for the info. The policy makes sense. I just wish i’d got that name first.
