Getting Blogger trackback url

  I’m trying to link back to a Blogger blog from my WordPress blog. When I click “Create a link” I can either create a blog on Blogger or go to advanced blog setup. Advanced blog setup wants all this FTP stuff that I don’t know where to find. Does anyone know?

  The commercial site linked to your name is not a wordpress.com blog. If you have one, what is the url?

  In any case, the trackback should be automatic.

  I don’t know what you mean by “the trackback should be automatic.” Sure, my posts automatically create a trackback url for others to use. What I’m trying to find out is if anyone has info on how to ping a blogspot blog.

  I’m unclear what you mean by ‘advanced blog setup’ as we have no ftp capability here.

  What I mean by automatic is when I link to another blog in a post by using the visual editor and inserting the link there, when I publish the post the other blog is notified automatically unless that blog is set up not to receive pings. I don’t have to do anything further, regardless of the other blog’s host. Make sure in Options>Discussion you have checked the first option to attempt to notify the other blog.
