Getting Charged for a domain that is not active or does not work

  Hello,

  On June 21, 2012 (6/21/2012) I paid for the wordpress.com domain – http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com – with the following services:

  1) Domain Mapping for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($13.00 USD)
  2) Domain Registration for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($5.00 USD)
  3) Private Registration for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($8.00 USD)

  The PayPal Transaction ID is 8DD48600GG715044E
  TOTAL AMOUNT: $26.00

  On May 23, 2013, I was charged again for:

  1) Domain Mapping for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($13.00 USD)
  2) Domain Registration for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($5.00 USD)
  3) Private Registration for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($8.00 USD)

  The PayPal Transaction ID is 15X44409LE3667724
  TOTAL AMOUNT: $26.00

  My problem with this is not the initial payment I made for PayPal Transaction ID #8DD48600GG715044E made on June 21, 2012, but for the payment I have just been notified is getting set to be charged to me yet again. (See PayPal Transaction ID # 15X44409LE3667724 above.

  When I log into my wordpress.com account: username – stevebowen1310 – it shows only three (3) blogs:

  1) igameonthefly
  2) gameonthefly
  3) Traveling Steve’s Blog

  The first two (2), I don’t have any problems with, although I need to have them deleted and have no charges (if any) associated with them.

  The third (3rd) one – “Traveling Steve’s Blog” – gives me an error when I “click” on the link: “http://paid2travel.wordpress.com/” which reads:

  “Not Found – Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

  If I go to http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com I get the same error message:

  “Not Found – Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”

  Now, I honestly do not know if this is “tied” to http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com but either way, the only “Blog URL” listed on my account is “igameonthefly.wordpress.com” which needs to be removed and deleted and all charges associated with it stopped – if any.

  What I don’t understand is, is how I’m getting charged $26 for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com but I’ve NO way to delete it, change it or stop any of the charges associated with it. Is it associated somehow with another username?

  Either way, I would like to STOP THE PENDING PAYMENT OF $26.00 FOR:

  1) Domain Mapping for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($13.00 USD)
  2) Domain Registration for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($5.00 USD)
  3) Private Registration for http://busylivingnow.wordpress.com ($8.00 USD)

  NOTE: If I go to busylivingnow.wordpress.com, and click “About” at the top, the name of the blog is:

  “Busy Living Now – The Journey of a Madman”

  and is NO WHERE to be found in my account

  TOTAL AMOUNT: $26.00

  IMMEDIATELY before I pay for something I do not use, or want, or have no way of using even if I wanted to.

  Hi stevebowen1310,

  It looks like the site busylivingnow.wordpress.com has a different user listed as the owner. If you log into the account using that username/email address, you should be able to see the upgrades in your Dashboard, and cancel the domain if you wish to do so.

  I would also be happy to handle the cancellation for you, but you will need to post that request here (or contact support privately) from the account that owns that blog and upgrade.
