The number of people visiting has gone up, but I cannot seem to get anyone to post a comment. Any suggestions?

Yes. There are many ways that you can encourage your readers to comment. The way you structure your posts can have the effect of drawing out comments. This can be achieved by using a question in the title, sub-titles and/or question(s) at the end of the posts as well. As TimeThief, said formatting of the post structure is important but more importantly the content it self blog about what your passionate about this method usually promotes more compelling content…
Like the old saying goes to make money you got to invest money this scenario is the same for blogging as well to build a community surrounding your blog content you’ll need to jump in there and start engaging on other blogs of the same interest I used this method and have not just drawn in comments but followers as well…
