Getting domain =

  Hi. I am new to building a website. I tried WordPress and ran into so many problems just creating a home page, and now I am moving to square space – the site is so much easier to use. I created the domain frickinteriors.com and am a little confused on how I transfer it. Do I just need to wait 60 days and it will be available again?

  I’ve restored the domain so that you don’t lose ownership of it while you move from WordPress.com to Square Space.

  The domain is active again on your account – this is the only way to guarantee that you’ll not lose ownership of it as it works through the cancellation process.

  You are correct, once the domain is 60 days old you can transfer it outright. These are the instructions to do that when the time comes:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

  The domain was registered on July 23rd 2018.

  While waiting for those 60 days to pass you can still point the domain to another provider, like Square Space. To do that, the name servers need to be adjusted. Contact Square Space and find out what name servers you need to use in order to point the domain to them. Then follow these instructions to make those changes:
