Getting domain name

    Hello, I reserved a domain name which I’d really like to use on WordPress when I signed up for a free one month trial with Intuit last week. I canceled the Intuit account a few days ago.
    I’ve since bought the WordPress “pro-bundle” & have started building the blog with my second preference domain name, as the original is now not available (thanks to me!). Does anyone have any ideas on how I can recover my original Intuit-registered domain name? Will it just become available again (provided no on else takes it) at some specified time? Thanks!

    Letting a domain name expire to get it again is bad – someone else can get it – keep it and map it here – if you don’t like intuit you can transfer the domain name to another registrar – but WordPress.COM does not accept incoming domain name transfers

    You should be able to map your existing name here
