Getting email notifications about my comments on my own blog
-
Don’t know what I did, if anything, but suddenly I’m getting email notifications when I make comments on my own blog. I don’t want them; they clutter my inbox. I only want to know when visitors comment.
How do I stop these notifications of my own comments?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Are you able to clear the notifications if you go to http://wordpress.com/#!/notifications/ directly?
-
P.S. Are you logged in under the username account that registered the blog in question? Do you have two username accounts set up as official users of the blog?
-
The notifications appear on the list you mention. There are options to trash or delete them, but I was afraid those meant remove the comment from the blog post, and I don’t want to do that.
I do have several user names on the account, but I am logged in under the name that registered the blog.

I realizeded I might have been logged in differently when I made a couple of those comments. Understandably I would then get notifications of those “visitor” comments. But a look at the addresses on the emails shows that although one or two were from my alter ego, some were also from my main address/ID.
(Going to eliminate those alter egos to prevent that from happening again.)
