Getting emails from blogs I am not subscribed to

So this is what happened :
1. I was subscribed to 2 blogs
2. I deleted my WordPress account
3. I continued to get emails from these 2 blogs.
4. I made a new WordPress account using the same email
5. I continue to get emails from these 2 blogsNow I check my subscription settings and these 2 blogs are not in my subscription list. So I cannot unsubscribe from them.
6. If I subscribe to these blogs now, I get 2 emails from them (on the same address).
7. If I unsubscribe again, I still get 2 email.Basically the email subscription is stuck to the old WordPress account I deleted. It is driving me crazy. What can I do to stop these emails?

I checked and confirmed that you are subscribed to neither of those sites. You mentioned that you added the email you were using for the previous account for a new account. Do you happen to remember the username of the old deleted account? I want to check that account and make sure nothing unusual is happening.
