Getting error ‘A definition of a siteurl or homeurl was detected in your wp-config.php, but the file is not writable. ‘
-
Hi.
I am trying to install the atomic blocks plugin to our wordpress site. I have installed it but when I click on it and click on ‘getting started’, the following error appears on the page;
‘A definition of a siteurl or homeurl was detected in your wp-config.php, but the file is not writable.
Set your wp-config.php to writable and reload this page.’
Does anyone know how I fix this?
Based on googling I tried to go into the SSL, however in the SSL it also displays the above message, and it also says SLL is not yet enabled and has this error;
‘WordPress 301 redirect enabled. We recommend to enable the 301 .htaccess redirect option on your specific setup. Enable or dismiss’
In SSL settings, the 301 option is not there.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help -
Hi there!
It sounds like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
