Getting error of invalid JSON response while updating the post

    I’m facing challenges updating few of the posts which are distributed across multiple connections (uses distributor plugin). It indicates that the function ‘get_site’ is undefined. Although I managed to get it working using ‘wp_get_sites’ and I’m aware that this function is deprecated.

    On WP dashboard -> Distributor -> pull content shows the error of
    ‘Could not pull content from connection due to error.
    API endpoint error.’

    When I try to update a post, an error message appears at the top of the article stating, ‘Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.
